What the heck is blogging?

Elementary Technology Teachers,

After our introduction to blogging, how do you envision using it in your classroom or school?

This would be good in a faculty meeting too.

This information is very helpful. I think it would be a great idea to use it for faculty or classroom book study.

Blogging would be an excellent tool to use with writing. It would be a good motivator to young writers. I know that as a writer, I would love to have people give me positive feedback on my work.

I plan to use blogging for my students to respond to reading, science, or social studies. And hope to have some parental response.
I would love to introduce this to our faculty for our current and future book studies.

I think I will use blogging with my students to show daily homework, as well as classroom news.

I think it would be a great forum for librarians to keep in touch and get help/suggestions from colleagues.

I think that I could use this to publish my students' writing. This way others in the class could read it and comment. They could add suggestions to help improve the writing. I can also see it as a way for the students to response to books we are reading. They can describe characters, tell how they felt about the story, relate their experiences to the story, etc..

I would love to post the students work on the blog. This way my students families could read their work.

Also, I would love to do our book study using bloggers instead of having faculty meetings.
